With the completion of the installation of the last array, it means that Powerway New Energy's 50MW electric adjustable photovoltaic support project in the northwest region has been officially delivered. The project is located in the Gobi Desert in the northwest, where winds and sand are strong all year round, with the highest wind speed reaching 38m/s. After the power station is connected to the grid, the average annual power generation can reach 218.75 million kilowatt-hours, equivalent to the power generation of 87,675 tons of standard coal, which will help reduce the emission of 64,000 tons of carbon dioxide and have significant environmental benefits. This photovoltaic power station is part of the large-scale wind and solar base construction project of the Western Development, and is also one of the West-East Power Transmission Projects.

With limited land use and the push of national policies, large-scale wind and solar base projects are becoming an important support for new energy installation and development space during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period. The Gobi Desert in the northwest has abundant light resources, and as photovoltaic bases gradually move towards deserts, Gobi and wastelands, the northwest region has once again become a hot spot for new energy development and investment.

The photovoltaic brackets of this power station are arranged in 2X26. Because the array is long and there are many components arranged, if a manually adjustable solution is adopted, the later operation and maintenance will cost a lot of manpower costs. The technical team of Baowei New Energy has improved the manually adjustable transmission structure so that its adjustable transmission part can be fully connected to electric tools. After using electric tools for adjustment, the owner can greatly reduce the operation and maintenance costs. Compared with traditional fixed brackets, the use of Baowei electric adjustable brackets can increase the overall power generation by more than 10%.

The project site is located in the sand dune Gobi land, with problems such as uneven ground and salinization. For this reason, the photovoltaic bracket adopts concrete pile foundation; in addition to better adapting to the unfavorable factors of uneven ground, a large number of photovoltaic array pile foundations are deeply inserted into the sand, which plays a good role in sand fixation. Baowei actively cooperates with local photovoltaic sand control technology to create a "photovoltaic + sand control" project model with win-win economic and environmental benefits.

Baowei New Energy has rich project experience in the Gobi Desert regions of Tibet, Qinghai, Inner Mongolia and other regions in my country, and can quickly provide customers with more competitive solutions. In the future, Baowei will actively respond to the country's call for the development of a large wind and solar base in the northwest, continuously improve the core competitiveness of its products, and contribute to the realization of the "dual carbon" goal.
