Good news! Powerway won the bid for the 480MW large-scale photovoltaic power station project in Chile

Recently,Powerway, together with a well-known domestic general contractor, successfully won a large-scale ground photovoltaic power station project in Chile, with a total capacity of 480MW. So far, the project is the largest single photovoltaic power station in Chile; it is expected to be connected to the grid by the end of 2023, and will be able to meet the electricity needs of about 256,000 local households and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 610,000 tons per year, making an important contribution to the local "carbon neutrality" cause!

The project is located in the desert area of central Chile, with arid climate, sandy soil, and atmospheric corrosion level C3. In view of the environmental and design conditions, Baowei's technical design team provided a magnesium-aluminum-zinc bracket solution based on the customer's specific needs. The solution uses a large herringbone arrangement to improve land utilization and reduce costs. In order to verify the feasibility of the design solution, Baowei made every effort and cooperated with the customer to conduct pull-out tests locally, and finally determined the static pile foundation.
